The babysitters club: Kristy’s great idea a graphic novel by Raina Telgemier novel by Ann M. Martin book review
You may be wondering, is this book made by two people!? And no it isn’t. If you’re a nindeez kid you may remember the original novel series ‘The Baby Sitters Club’ by Ann M. Martin. Well, Raina Telgimier made a remake of that novel but with a twist, it’s a graphic novel!
Description: Kristy Thomas, a twelve-year-old girl who lives in connecticut finds a way for people to easily find sitters for their children. She rounds up a group of girls how also babysit so they can form a club that answers to one phone line so that the parents can reach a whole network of babysitters in which one’s bound to be open to sit!
My Opinion: I thought the book was great. The club works together nicely and I think it’s good how the book goes over real topics like divorce, diabetes, sitting trouble, and more! Raina Telgemier did amazing with the drawing and gives each character their own individual style. This is a five star book to me!
